On Wednesday, 22 April, between 16:00 – 18:00, 3 Seed Awardees from the Fund’s network sit down with trans-femme collective Los Angles for a panel talk on the realities of navigating the art world as a trans creative.

Three Seed Awardees from the Fund’s network—Princesa Hardcore, Lucrezia, & Okyanus Çağrı Çamcı—are part of a 10-day Exchanges in collaboration with Los Angles Collective, Amsterdam's trans-femme collective nurturing trans talent. In a time where global attention to trans identity heightens and becomes ever more restrictive, this 10-day interdisciplinary programme asks us to take seriously how trans talent is best supported.

On Wednesday, 22 April, between 16:00 – 18:00, the Exchanges with Los Angles Collective will host a public panel talk at Domo. The visiting artists will tell us more about their practices and what they are currently working on. After this, a panel talk featuring the artists in residence and the organisers of Los Angles Collective will reflect on the state of working through the contemporary moment, the marginalisation of the trans community, and the politics of hypervisibility that trans women face.

There will be time to get to know the artists in residence and connect with each other over informal drinks.
